I'll put it like this... driving at night sucks in the mustang. You can see, but not very well. It didn't really affect the high beams, but the HID low beams make things hard to see (except road signs and the lines on the road).
Yeah, I can't say I'd recommend it. The streets around here are heavily lit with streetlights, so I can kind of get away with poor vehicle lighting.
Anyway, not really an update, but in another month I'll be moving to a duplex with a very large (bigger than my current apartment) garage. After the move, I'll probably run my hood's heat extractors deeper into the engine bay; the entire project will probably take about a weekend's time and $50-$100 complete, so it's definitely do-able.
After that, I'll probably start on the rear seat delete, and after that I'll probably start on my V1 rear diffuser (it'll be non-functional and it's only going to be made for the sake of practice and aesthetics).
The true diffuser won't be fabricated until after the car is lowered, after the independent rear suspension swap, and after a fuel cell is mounted in the trunk so I can get rid of the factory fuel tank. I have worked out how I'm going to make it work with the IRS (since the exhaust has to run under the differential); I'm going to put a skid plate under the exhaust (to keep the tubes from getting ripped off) and incorporate said skid plate into the belly pan. I'll be running the diffuser directly aft of the skid plate. Also, I've finally worked out how to make the diffuser adjustable for height and angle-of-attack. Let's just say it's going to take a lot of test-fitting and adjusting to get it right and I'm going to have to cut up the rear bumper a little bit, but it should (at the very least) look freakin' awesome

You're telling me... right now, I don't even have a garage
Anyway, update... I wasn't planning on getting a spoiler this soon, but I came across a deal I couldn't freakin' refuse. I found a used Steeda wing (minus the winglets [the little vertical fins on the ends] ) for $80+shipping. The winglets are ~$90, and the wing normally goes for ~$300 (of course, that's new). If all goes well, I'll be buying the wing early next week.
Pic of the wing in question:

*edit: buying the wing. I'm just waiting on a shipping quote and I'll be paypal-ing him the money. It won't be on the car until I get the winglets, though... I've seen the Steeda wing sans winglets and it looks terrible. The wing should look absolutely **** once I have a 2000 Cobra R front splitter and the car is lowered (with new wheels, of course lol)... and once the rear diffuser is on the car it'll look aggressive as hell
*edit (again): eff the aluminum winglets. I just checked Steeda's website... genuine carbon fiber winglets are $10 more... why have aluminum that needs painted when you can have carbon fiber that's already black?

Well, here's what's going on... the guy with the Steeda wing is going to get me a shipping quote tomorrow around noon-ish and he's going to have it boxed up and ready to ship tomorrow, so the wing should be here by the end of next week. Here's the fun part: the carbon fiber winglets I was looking at buying? Yeah, just found a guy selling a used pair of them with the mounting bolts... so I'm waiting on a price from him, but I can guarantee it'll be <$100 shipped since that's what they are brand-new... so basically, I'll have the wing with winglets on the car most likely by next weekend.
