hey i was just wonder i was a victim of a scam in the classified i know marty was doing his job and he told me that member is banned from the forums but last night he was on still selling stuff or trying 2 sell stuff and so on...so i was wondering if theres anything that can be done,,,heres the info about the scammer screen name is one1sickhb has a posted called " civic parts" and inside has cell and he doesnt return my calls i wired him 500dollars and he just took it and never brother sending his part of the deal thank 4 listen and reading this comcerned 4 me and others members that might be scammed by him

 

call a lawyer

 

unfourtnaly nothing can really be done unless you got his name or adress or ip adress or something along those lines. if you did get his name or something then contact your local PD

 

when you say "wired" do you mean just transfered to his account? did you use paypal? or bidpay? or something like that? or did you just send him the money as a money order?

If you used paypal contact them and they can reverse the transfer and screw him over, since it was over $50 then you shouldn't have any issues with them

 

wired as in moneygram and yes i do have his name his cell cuz its n his post and the transaction recept on moneygram city state and zip code also so its better 2 go 2 the cops with this info or a michigan lawyer? ohio lawyer?
