Default 01 civic check engine light

I recently installed a short ram intake on my Civic and the check engine light went on. I used a code reader and the the diagnostic trouble code that showed up was P0113 (IAT sensor 1 circuit high input). I am guessing that the intake air temp. is really high and is tripping off the sensor. I tried to reset the trouble code with an OBD 2 scanner but the light still stays on. I even tried unplugging the battery for an hour and then checking again. Darn check engine light is still on. Will the ECU adapt to the new intake? Any help or info. is appreciated. Thanks.

The ECU should adapt to the new intake after 500 miles or so. However, if it doesn't pull the ECU fuse and keep it out of the car for a few minutes. Put it back in and start the car. Let it idle for 5-10 minutes. Done, the ECU has been reset.
