1.6 header fit 1.5?

hey i have a 95 civic DX and i recently picked up a DC sports 4-2-1 one peice header ceramic coated for $50 at a swap meet. it is used but looks in good condition. the guy i bought it off of said it came off a 1.6L civic. i know that the header flanges are the same. there is a lil bracket that bolts to the tranny i belive that i don't think it looks right and also the placement of the O2 sensor is way off(down right before cat.) but the stock one is right on the header before the down pipe and i was wondering if anyone knew if i need an adapter for the it to make the O2 wire longer or if this header will not work at all. im gonna keep looking else where on the net for more info but i thought that i should also check with you guys cause some one might know more about this than i do. thanks for any info

just use sodder some more wire and extend it so u can put the o2 sensor where it belongs. It should work.

i thought of that too but my only concern is that might mess up the resistance in the wiring throwing the O2 sensor off and make it not read right.

hmm maybe replace the o2 sensor with one from a 1.5.....maybe it will be long enough. I dont kno that soddering more wire will mess with the ohms to give it a bad signal. I would extend the wire if it were me. Just make sure u do a good job with it.
