i took my civ to a local exhaust shop the other day to ask how much they wanted to just bend a pipe for me. just everything from the cat back. and i was gunna use my magnaflow muffler. they said they wanted 350 just to bend the pipe.. is it just me? or is that rediculous? ive seen megan catbacks online (including muffler) for 305.

any thoughts?

 

It is mandrel, or crush bent? If mandrel, then that doesn't seem to rediculous. You have to factor in their time to make it.

 

true mandrel does take time, but i got mine for $120 (cat back, all mandrel bent). $350 is totaly ridiculous dude, either find a new shop or make that guy bring down his price. How much is he charging an hour?

 

idk i didnt ask. he said 350 and i was out the door. haha. o well new ride anyway. all this one needs is a nice muffler and im gunna take the silencers off.

 

so your getting it for $350?! Dude, look around some, you're gonna be able to find alot better deals then just that. Are you sure her wanst adding in the cost of a cat, resonator and muffler? Or was he honestly saying $350 for a pipe between the cat and res and the res and the muffler? Cuz thats just ridiculous man.....

lmao. my05civic. dude I just came back from the local muffler shop I got mine complete. (instead of just the muffler) I got 2.25 straight pipe from the cat back sounds badass, thanks to the megan muffler. and it was all done for 120. it's all one piece too. =) come down to miami homie.
