Hi,

I just bought a 92 Civic DX, the only thing wrong with it really is the muffler, and the fact its no longer attached to the rest of the exhaust system.
I don't know what I need to buy to replace this. Can I just get a muffler, or do I need the entire system? Any advice would rock. thanks.

 

Find a local muffler shop and drive in. It will probably take just a little pipe and some welds. I have had several repaired with problems similar to what your saying, and it always runs about 30-40 bucks. They have tons of pipe laying around, and how expensive is a few minutes of welding. They should get you all back together within a few minutes.
