I just bought this car. It's clean runs good great motor. So on & so forth. When I accelerate the exhaust sounds like a pissed off bumble bee. I know for sure it's an aftermarket exhaust. What is the best thing to do? Aka cheapest way to go? The intake is short ram. Te exhaust had a chrome tip me recently took off it reduced the raspy ness a lil bit. Answers comments please

 

Get a stock exhaust? and check the manifold-to-tip for cracks? if none just replace the muffler, look at sites and youtube to get an idea of the sound the new one you are getting will make, but know that cheap ones will start sound like what youre probably dealing with pretty fast, regardless of how nice it was at start.
