AEM SRI or K&N Replacement Filter

I'm going to have my frd help me abt replacing the stock air intake, he suggested me to get a K&N replacement filter instead of AEM SRI coz the hp difference is little and the money doesn't worth it...should I stick to AEM or just get a replacement filter?
I got a auto 93 ex coupe with a pacesetter exhaust
thanks guys

get the intake if you can find one cheap enough. the k&n isn't that great, they flow better because they let more crap through, so they are oiled tp help catch more dirt. a foam filter is the best though, they don't flow as good as a k&n, but filter out dirt a lot better, hence most offroad vehicles use them, and companies like greddy and hks use them for their turbo kits

just get a cheapo CAI off of ebay and put a K&N filter on the end.

a foam filter is the best though
what planet are you from? those things break itself with age and go into your engine. foam filters maybe good for one off road run and then changed. not as a dd.

i would go with the sri. it will flow better and aems filters are better than people say.
