Can you get it to rattle while the tranny is in nuetral? If so, while someonerevs to this rpm, use a metal rod against your ear and whatever you think could be rattling. Then, while it is still rattling, touch the likely culprit to see if it stops. This way, you can isolate the area that is causing the problem. You may have to wedge a piece of rubber hose in the right place. My V2 doesn't rattle at any speed, and it's alot longer than yours.

Yes, it does it even in nuetral. I spent about 5~10 mins, having my friend rev it and try to find it.. I KNOW its vibration, I just don't know where, and why ONLY at 2k rpm? It just seems kinda odd, I mean.. Why wouldn't it do it at higher rpms too? I dunno.. I figure, as long as it runs right and everything, and isn't affecting anything (Besides a annoying noise, which I can't hear it that much when driving) I might be able to live with it.

It is at that rpm that the resonant frequency peaks, making the rattle most audible. While your engine is at 2000 rpm, start touching the assembly in different places to isolate the general area. I'm sure you could find it if you try hard enough. If left untouched, you could end up with a detent or worse, a leak. The good news would be if you DON'T cruise at 2000 rpm, since the actual period of time at that speed would be very small, as would the chances that some damage would happen.

how did you get that hose clamp on the breather hose, the point where it connects to the engine? i swear that thing was not gonna go on when i did it on my car.

Conceptualpolymor: Alright, i'll give that a try sometime. So.. Just touch random spots on my intake, is what your saying? I'm gonna cut that breather hose about 1/2 inch tommorow probably, because its a bit too long. But, I checked the bolt and washer, thats securely tighten, and the filter is on good and snug, and the clamps are all fastened and secure wonderfuly. But I guess i'll have to look harder and see if I can find the source of the vibration.

Gooberguy: Haha, tell me about it.. I had to shave some off with a box cutter, and put some dish soap and I was luckily enough to get it on. It took ALOT of elbow grease, thats for sure..

It took me about 30~40 minutes to get the air box and the other thing off, because I couldn't find the one bolt thats underneath a little, and I had to find an extension to get that one bolt thats deep inside, where you can't even fit your hand baraly in there.. Not to mention, I didn't see that harness connected to the airbox was attached when I got it out(I wonder what that thing was for.. Because I know I didn't use it on the V2) And the throttle body case thing took about 5 minutes, because I wasn't sure how to get it out, so I had to use a little force it and just kinda.. popped out, I had to be careful not to break anything, that was my main concern. I had to take some bolt off so the filter could fit, because there was an annoying bolt sticking out that prevented my filter from fitting correctly, then everything else went smooth and easy until I tried to hook the damn breather hose up.. Because it was a pain in the *** to get on the engine, after shaving some off with a utility knife, and some dishsoap and some good 'ol elbow grease, and some nice turning motions to get it on all the way.

When I cut some off the hose, i'm definately making sure to take the side off the intake off first, because if I have to put the side onto the engine again.. I'm gonna go crazy, because that was a pain in the *** lol..
