Default AEM V2 intake

On ebay, it says that AEM V2 cold air intakes will only fit a manual trany, well what I wanna know is, will it work with an auto tranny as well? What's the difference? I don't see any. Can some one let me know for sure.

I dont understand, what your intake has to do with what kind of tranny you have. Also, I was looking for a DC ceramic header for my civic, and one of the sites it said that a 4-1 will only fit a manual tranny.

im not sure, but i think the V2 goes down in front of the tranny, not through the fender where other CAIs go. so its possible that the solenoids on the tranny get in the way.

Damn, I'll have to find out for sure, but I really want that V2. As far as the header goes, I was gonna get either the 4-2-1 or 4-1 DC ceramic header, leaning more towards the 4-1, and on the ebay site, it says its for a manual tranny only! Damn! Damn! Hey, any body out there know for sure if a DC 4-1 will fit an auto, give me a hollar. Supposedly the 4-2-1 can fit an auto, I may have to settle for that. Here's a link to the header.

I want to, but the labor for a mechanic to put it in is gonna dry my funds. Say if I do get a five speed, do I have to get a different ECU or? Can you give me a list of all the things I'll need?
