AEM V2 question

Default AEM V2 question

i want to get an AEM V2 CAI for my '00 dx, but the intake is for MT & i have an auto. does this really matter or will it just not fit? thanks

On the 96-00 Civics, the intake mounts to the transmission. That's why they say it's for manual only. I don't know if it's possible to make it fit.

Don't listen to people with 01-05 civics who say it doesn't matter. Their inake is different.

i had the same exact question...

if it says M/T only on the product name... then it wont fit. cuz the auto tranny is bigger and bulkyer than the manual.

but i havent tired to fit it on or anything.
if u try, tell me if it works, i would LOVE to get the V2

i have a '97 civic LX sedan, also auto.

maybe if it dont work... just get an INJEN or a weaponR, no biggie

ya, just got off the phone w/ an AEM dude, he said mostly what other ppl said.. that it wont fit and just get another one.

ok well i had an auto to manual swap done in mine and am looking to get the same intake, will it still fit?

that should work for you.
it bolts to the manual transmission.
so if you have a manual transmission it should fit.
