Air Intake whistles
Hey, sorry if this question was already asked. I tried to search real quick and didn't find anything. Anyways, I was wondering how to make my AEM SRI stop making a whistle noise. It only does it when I push down a certain amount on the gas. I'm going to be buying a new AEM CAI soon so I don't want to waste $30 on a new air filter so I was wondering if there is a quick fix for this?
Thanks in advance,

ya man, thats how its soppoed to be, CAI do it less, you cant even really hear them, but SRI do it pretty loud, some anyway, its just the air getting sucked..we had a big thread on this before, everyone liked the noise, i think it sounds pretty cool
it's going to do it if your on the gas no matter what atleast that's how it is for me mine's not a hatch but it's a 96 and it does it constantly you get used to it and eventually your proud of it i am anyway lol.... i asked this question b4 so, there you have it...
edit: just turn the music up and it's all good LOL unless you listen to rap then turn it down...

It should sound like air getting sucked in at a high velocity, not like a whistle
