Anyone else had this problem???

I got my AEM intake yesterday, was all pumped to put it in..got all the way through it, and when i went to plug the sensor back in i noticed that the wires were WAYYYYY to short...to make a logn story shot i had to take apart a wire casing and its like "free floating" just to make it work...nothing is pulling tight or anyting its just i didnt expect to have to do this. Anyone had this issue before and what did you do ??

no, you must of brought the wrong intake maybe or install it wrong or possibly got your intake from a non reputable store....because everything should fit perfectly.

Yeah, i had the same thing happen. I just stripped the casing down until the wire would reach, and now it works fine. If you look closely at the pic below, you can see when i had the SRI in , the wires are pulled prety tight, and the sensor is just barely sitting in the hole. WHen i putt he CAI in, it helped a little, but is still stretched out. I did some reworking of a couple of the lines to clean that area up, and now theres little to no tension on those wires. I'll get some close up shots tonight (hopefully) so you can see what i mean
