pros: i like the 'somewhat' improved power, better sound

cons: looks a lot ricer than when i originally bought it, i'm getting a motor swap so it's just a waste of money in the end.

Instead of randomly getting pissed off and telling you to search like my05, I'm just going to say that I do not regret getting my cold air intake. I love listening to the vtec changeover, but aside from that there is not really much of any improvement on acceleration. There isn't a whole hell of a lot of noise if you're just cruising, but if you're winding it out to redline it's going to be louder than stock, obviously.

I don't think it's too loud, but I've had people comment on hearing me get on it up to a 1/4 mile away.
BlackEM1: on the day that the topic creator made this post (7/10/2007, before you joined), there were 4-5 topics that asked essentially the same thing. there is no excuse for being so ignorant that you cannot look a couple threads below your own and see that somebody else had a similar question.

Ok I'm going to just give into this random nonsense and ask you a question.

Does it really make a difference? Topics are going to be asked about over and over again regardless.

yes, they will always be covered over and over again, but the main reason we say that is to get them in habit of searching for their problems and not being lazy like many people that go around and ask, "which is better, sri or cai, ek or eg?"

Ok, the thread should have pretty much ended with Flips post then. He was politely told to search, and then the sarcasm and rudeness came in.

How many times does 'search' need to be said?

you can't say anything about ending the thread when you yourself are still posting in the thread. and no one has used sarcasim or rudeness towards you in anyway. and 'search' needs to always be said because there will always be people that don't know better or are just lazy.

I wasn't talking about rudeness towards me personally, but prior to being called out - I gave my opinions to the opinion side of the topic posters' questions.

anyone regret getting air intake? Im thinking about an injen / aem short ram
how big of a difference is the acceleration compared to factory stock?
And more importantly with normal driving (30mph or less)is there too much noise?
Will i have more acceleration noise when I step on the gas harder?

If so is it too loud?
Normal driving (cruising) you probably wont notice it at all. Once you punch it (the gas) you will hear a sucking/whistling noise and then when you get about to3500 rpm's it lets out a roar then further up the rpm's turns to a whine sort of like a bike (not harley bike). i'm sure if you go to youtube and search you'll be able to find a clip of someone using it.

second question.... yes.
