B16A2 w/ ITR cams - what gains will an aftermarket header/IM give?

I have a B16A2 with someITR camshafts in. I also have a catback which has an internal diameter of2.25" and a high flow cat.

What gains do you think i will see if i purchased a Skunk2 intake manifold and an aftermarket header of some sort. Whatdo you reckonthe roughgain willbe in BHP?

thank you in advance

I def think an intake manifold and header couldnt hurt . I 2 have ITR cams on my b16a. Originally it was obd0 but i converted it to obd2.. i woulnt suggest doing that ever haha its such a pain.. every sensor .. pretty much and the distributor and oil pump!.. but ne ways i have a DC sports 4 -1 header and i read in a tunning book i bought that those are the best for the b16. They have them stock on the ITRs and they reccomend finding one of those but DC sports makes an excellent replica it has larger header tubes going in to 2.5 inch exit. then i replaced my cat with a resenator. i have factory 99-00 civic si exhaust and that size that you have is perfect they dont reccomend any larger for an NA aplication. i would say an intake manifold that dosnt have a Ginormus plenum on it but def larger diameter throttle body. you should be getting some good results for that.. and u may have your valves tuned and then the timing checked just to add a little kick.. ull be suprised how much that helps!!

its tough to beat a b16 manifold. I would get the stock one ported/polished, preferably Extrude Honed, and then get a really good header, Comptech if smog is a concern, or Hytech or Bisimoto if you can afford it. the header is one of the tougher parts to make power with on a honda.
