BEST INLET DIAMETER??
Inner diameter is usually the number used to identify pipes. It's the measurement from one inner wall directly across the centerpoint to the other innner wall, with no regards to the thickness of the piping material itself.
Now that I think about it they would probably be the same, but I have never heard it referred to as 'inlet' diameter. For N/A set-ups, that is no turbo, supercharger or nitrous, the best inner diameter (ID) is 2.25". For F/I (forced induction) or nitrous applications 2.5" would be better.
