Default burning smell

my muffler is touching my bumper. After it heats up, its starting to melt my bumper because it smells like its burning. What can I put in between the muffler and bumper to make it not burn it, but i dont want it to be noticeable

Look at my Product Review on the Megan Racing Cat Back. I have the same car, and encountered the same problem. You just need different hangers.

Fix it ASAP, or your tip will end up looking like mine...covered in melted plastic [:@]

so i brought my car to a motorsports place by my house. and i hate when i know im right, but i dont want to be a dick. so this guy comes out and says, you istalled your cat back wrong. Its pointing outwards.
so i tell him thats how its supposed to be, but that isnt the problem.
So he says, if it werent at an angle it wouldnt touch your bumper.
Then he goes on about how its supposed to point downward blah blah blah.
so i left and said thanks for the help.

Actually, I have found them at Napa before, so if you have one of those, try there first. Autozone and Advanced might carry them now a days too. I bought the same thing and just chopped the metal end off. If you have a dremel, you might want to work the chassis mount hole a little bit, its a stubborn *****

yea i tried kragen and world wide auto parts, they only had universal hangars for exhausts 1'-2'
how lame. anyways at work, i found this piece of metal, it looked like a book shelf mount thingy, so i broke off about 4 inches of it, and i pushed my muffler down, set the metal bar in between the muffler and bumper. the muffler is so tight against the bumper, it just holds the metal piece there, and you cant see it because its so thin
