C.A.R.B. Compliant '02 LX w/crack in OEM exhaust manifold
While waiting for parts to arrive after my '92 DX sedan went down w/clutch issues, I realized I wanted another Civic as a backup. I just snagged an 2002 LX coupe. It needs some work. Previous owner hit a deer, replaced the bumper cover, and hit another deer a few weeks later. That one trashed the new bumper, the right headlight housing, bent the fender, and cracked the windshield. Anyway, the exhaust manifold is cracked, too. Even though the car's been in Florida it has "C.A.R.B. Compliance" (California emissions) stickers on the rear windows. Existing CEL codes: PCV and IACV. I intend to replace the PCV w/Honda OEM part, and remove, clean, re-install the IACV. Any advice/suggestions on an after-market manifold/Cat.Conv. would be appreciated. Thanks.
