CAI ?
 
i have a 97 DX and im getting an AEM v2 i think for my car its a CAI not sure though
anyways if its a CAI then i have to cut out that whole in my frame for it to fit...
does this weaken anything?
and what did people do to keep it from raddeling at idol? if it happens to...

the intake runs in front of the transmission for you, not through the hole. no hole will need to be cut. And no, the frame would be fine with the hole in it.

You don't have to cut anything, but the kit does come with a slimmer transmission stabilizer that you replace the stock one with so there is room for the intake tube.
