From personal experiences, you won't notice any difference from a CAI or a SRI, maybe the sound because the CAI is farther from you and you can't hear is as well as the SRI that is pretty much right next to you.

The thing about top and gains and low end gains I've to say that it's a myth to me, they both do the same thing: suck in air for your engine. Some might disagree with me on that... but I've tested both and I'll say that SRI is safer and that is the only difference I've ever noticed.

OMG for the last time. Not ever civic requires the removal of the front bumper to install a CAI!!!! Stop scaring people away from these. Plus to hydrolock the car I MUST be completely submerged in water. So, don't drive in a lake!!!!

p.s. will a mod PLEASE lock this??!?!?! This has been debated and debated and debated and debated and debated. Just use the darn search function. I'm going to go and cry now.

buddy, this is a three year old thread, if you want to know the pros and cons, then search the internet, not just the forum. you'll be amazed as to how much info's out there.
