i have a 97 LX 4 door civic and i have old header and a cheap intake (ima change it soon i didnt buy those) but when the car is warmed up it turns on and off constinly unless i turn the a/c on what is the problem how can i fix it how much will it be, and can i fix it myself????

 

Sounds like an idle problem.

Start by retrieving the CEL code from the ECU using this method:

Alternatively, take the car to AutoZone, where they will retrieve the code for free.
