cat or no cat

hi, what are if there is any the negitive effects of using a de-cat pipe rather than a high flow cat? I know it will fail the emissions test but I can get round that. Is there Much of a diff in BHP? was gonna install a megan de-cat on my 1.6 vtec as figh flow cats cost a lot over here.

you will gain a little more horsepower higher in the powerband but loose some torque. it also give you that loud piercing sound....kinda like running open header, but a little lower.

and your car stinks, and police hassle you, let alone the fact that you are doing more damage to the ozone than a catted V-8.
