CAT question
I have a 95 Civic EX.. I live in the smoggy state of California, and I need to replace my catalytic converter.
I have OBD1, (95>OBD1 96<OBD2)..
I am looking at cats online but its feckin confusing. I put in my model year etc.. and get ones that are 49 state legal or this cat meets the OBD2 emission standards for CA..
OEM OBD1 cats are required to remove 70% of emissions and are cheaper, OBD2 cats are required to remove 90% and are triple the price.. maybe I don't understand the CARB law..
so does anyone know what kind of cat I need? :?
