catback size
hey guys, i was wondering what would be the best size of pipeing for a catback on a gsr engine. i still want low end power and i use it as a dialy driver, but i want the extra kick.my friend said that a 2.5 catback would take all of my low end power.but in the end which size would be best.thanks.

RE: catback size
2.5 is good. Any larger than that, and you'll start to negatively change the backpressure.
If you had a turbo, you could go up to a 3 inch to accomodate the increased air coming in the intake. |
RE: catback size
i personally would say not to go over 2.25...its all you really need

RE: catback size
2.25 if u stay n/a. 3 if ur gena turbo.

RE: catback size
yea basically stay at 2.25" for an N/A and 2.5" or 3" for turbos. that way you don't lose low end for the daily driving
