catback size

hey guys, i was wondering what would be the best size of pipeing for a catback on a gsr engine. i still want low end power and i use it as a dialy driver, but i want the extra kick.my friend said that a 2.5 catback would take all of my low end power.but in the end which size would be best.thanks.

2.5 is good. Any larger than that, and you'll start to negatively change the backpressure.

If you had a turbo, you could go up to a 3 inch to accomodate the increased air coming in the intake.

yea basically stay at 2.25" for an N/A and 2.5" or 3" for turbos. that way you don't lose low end for the daily driving
