Where can i find an inexpensive testpipe for my 95 EX? Aluminized is fine, stock piping size. Thanks. I saw some stupid$120 ones. [:@]I remember getting a$25 one for my DSM.

A test pipe is just a straight through pipe rihgt? Ebay, Vendio, or get a muffler shop to weld you a custom one for real cheap. Just out of curiosity, why ru running a test pipe?

It's actually for a poor friend who has 200,000+ miles on their EX and after driving it I am pretty sure the original(!) cat is clogged. New testpipe should be significantly less than a cat (straight pipe with two flanges vs cat with two flanges). Live in a no smog testing state too...
If I wanted a welded one, I'd do it myself, but since it has two flanges I know someone has to make a cheap aluminized one for 30 or 40 bucks.

haha yeah it has basically nothign to with perfromance. You should go to either www.ebay.com or www.vendio.com and get a "high flow cat". Its basically the same thing as the test pipe except it already has both flanges on it, you stay emissions legal (even though they dont test, you should anyway), and its also only about $30

For $30 I will keep him legal.
Here's another reason why it may be clogged....AEM intake, cat-back YET quieter (!) than stock....
