Civic VP Bolt on help.Please!
 

Hello i have a 2005 civic VP coupe and was wondering what bolt-ons i.e(hi-flow filters, Cold air intake, short ram, exhaust.) to put on it. And if exhaust what can i do to give it a "deeper" tone and not the common chainsaw/kazoo noise. thanks

Go to youtube.com, search "Civic exhaust" and find out what you like.

Intake is a pipe, you can buy a name brand one, or an eBay intake pipe, and buy a K&N filter instead of using the one which comes with the eBay kit. If you are worried about hydrolock, then just get a short ram.

can i still use a Short ram with out cutting the hood or using a hoodscoop? if so what would i do.

A short ram on a Civic is basically a "hot air intake", not a true ram intake. It doesn't require a hood scoop or anything.

so would that still help with horsepower and torque even though it is taking in hot air?
