im only 16, my dad is a expert at performance with cars. he has a 86 trans am 383 ram air putting out 550+hp. he'll tell me what to put into it. i just want it to run really good with a kick in the engine too ya know?

 

Heres the thing. If some weirdo randomly installed a CAI or WAI on your car in the middle of the night you wouldnt even notice anything was different when you drove to work/school the next day. If you want it to be noticeably faster then either save money to put towards building a turbo for your engine or swap in a better engine. Ive only had my civic about three or four months and I dont see myself wasting money trying to beef up the stock engine. I would suggest upgrading your exhaust & suspension first since you can still utilize those things when you get a better engine... or if you want to keep the same engine you can start buying the parts your going to need for a turbo setup. (better fuel pump, injectors, header, guages, etc)

But if I was 16 id probably just be worried about trying to get laid more so id start off making it more attractive for the ladies to want to ride in. New paint, stereo and some nice 15 inch rims. Just for the love of god dont get a big spoiler, or a body kit, or oversized rims. Those things are just ridiculous.
