Default Cold Air Intake

Hey Guys,
Need a question answered?
I want to get the AEM CAI for my 2005 Civic. It's an automatic. Will the AEM CAI work on an automatic? I don't want to get it before find out.

thanks.

Yes, it will work on an automatic, and it'll let your engine "breathe" a lot easier.

I don't know about 5-8 HP........I would think more like 2-4 HP on a Civic. But it'll definitely be easier on your engine. Next you should upgrade your exhaust since your engine will be able to suck in more air, your exhaust should be 2.25" to let that added air out.

I'm tempted to get the AEM CAI V2 but I live in New York. In the summer it's great but when the rain falls, I'm worried water will get in the engine.

Is it easy to uninstall the CAI or should I get the water by pass valve to solve this issues?

Never heard of a water proof filter cover before. Do you mean a plastic bag?
And as sacicons said above, wouldnt that stop air from going in too?
