cost of cat-back muffler system
How much should it cost for a decent Cat-back muffler system that has that deep sound. I don't want something too expensive, but I don't want a piece of crap either. Also if you have any suggestions about certain models and brands feel free to comment.

please search around in the future for such general questions. few good sounding catbacks are cheap. magnaflow and greddy are what HCF always suggests and i would do the same. greddy is $$$ but its well worth it. cheap ebay stuff goes bad after a few months and you'll want to rip you're ears off because of the annoying high pitched sound.

that's a greddy STYLE exhaust. be careful looking on ebay. the company its made by is tsudo and tsudo is LOUD!
$300 is much too low. custom -- then maybe. but expect to spend $450+ for a good exhaust

if you want a warranty, don't buy from ebay. ebay sellers claim they're authorized dealers but few, if any, actually are. the pic depicts a straight cut but in actuality, it is a slash cup tip... just thought you'd like to know. personally, i prefer the straight cut , that's why i turned down the magnaflow.

Or you can go custom like me and save yourself the extra 100-200 dollars and have it give you the same performance. I mean if you want a megan exhaust you could just easily do a custom piping/catback and then just get a megan muffler and you'll save more and have the same performance output. After all, a pipe is a pipe, and metal is a metal. If you have the same material mandrel bent i just don't see why spend the extra 100-200 for just a name (brand).
