I know we've got a DIY for a 7th gen, but i was wondering if anybody had a link to a nice DIY or Write-Up of how to swap from a stock y7 intake manifold to a z6 one?

 

Aren't the IACV's different?

 

yeah the z6 has the IACV on the IM while the y7 has it on the TB. I talked to Marty about it and he said if you get an IACV plug and then just use the one that you didnt plug you should be all set.

anyone on the DIY?

 

I'm assuming you want a z6 specific and not ay8 correct.

 

well they are both basically the same tihng, if you could find a y8 one thatd be nice, the z6 just has the different IACV
