D16Y8 Intake Manifold Compatible?
I want to replace my d16y7 intake manifold with the d16y8. can i just change the manifold and keep the tb, fuel rail, injectors, sensors, and all that from the d16y7 setup?
because a used d16y8 is only like $50 and i would like to save money by keeping the old stuff. i have a 99 civic lx auto |

it will increase performance when used in conjunction with a cai. expect roughly 15whp. +/- |

it seems they only say that i can use the d16y8 mani on the d16y7 engine. they don't say if i can use other d16y7 parts like the tb and fuel rails and such. can someone take the time to say yes or no? please?

The one part you gotta be concerned with is the IACV and TB fitting...

the TB itself will work but id be concerned about the cables.

thanks, i kind of figured that they would. i'm just going to go with a complete d16y8 swap that i found. it includes intake manifold, all sensors, tb, fuel rail and injectors and it's below $100. sounds good...

you'll want to reuse the Y7 injectors because the Y* pieces will run you too rich, do you have an auto or manual?
