Default DC header, one piece or two???

Hey guys,

Im thinking about getting a DC header but got a little concern here. The current header I have now has an O2 sensor right on one of the tubes on the side, now the DC 4-2-1 header doesnt have an O2 bong in the same place, instead it's near the back before the header connects to the cat converter. I don't think my sensor will reach that far back, and the two piece 4-2-1 desings I belive does have a bong in the same place as my current header. So what should I do here, or did I over look something.
Thanks guys!
Andrey

its a bung. not a bong. but i think if it wont reach, then it will come with a harness to extend it, especially with a quality brand like DC.

Clip the o2 wires in the middle and extend it a few inches (i did it with no problems).

there ya go. and if you do that, heat shrink over the wires so that the weather doesnt get to the connections.

The best thing to do is to buy a new o2 sensor. Dont try rigging nothing up. My friend rigs everything up on his car and it doesnt do anything but create more problem. The other day I looked under his hood and he had his alternator hanging on by zip ties. So dont rig up your o2 sensor.

I have a DC 4-1 header, and it came with an extension for the sensor.
It is for my 98 EX.

yea, that first post I had is a little old, right now the header is on the car along with a cat back and a high flow cat, every thing is dandy.

My DC 4-1 came with an extension wire. It has the same connectors and just extends it to the rear so it will reach.

edit: Oops didn't notice how old the post was and the problem was solved,...
