Default DC race header on 05 LX ---->N00B

ok i figured that i wanted the racing header, i also have a magnaflow exhaust comming to my house, the DC sports racing header is for an EX and my exhaust will fit an EX but with the race header it eliminates the catalytic converter, could this be a problem? Im not worried if its illegal or not because my civic is in AK and i already talked to the DMV and state police and they said its ok to have.
I know this subject has been covered and i have used the search but im not seeing any thing that really helps with the racing headers on an LX.

if you choose to use a ex exhaust on your lx, you must upgrade your entire exhaust (header, downpipe, cat, exhaust) with ex parts.

you'll need to get a magnaflow hi-flow catalytic converter in order to legalize your exhaust

don't pollute

what's with the title by the way?

the exhaust and the header are both for an EX and the cat is gone when i get the header. (or so the company says)

im not really worried about it being legal, it is allowed in AK

Im about 99% sure that it is has less pollution then most of the crappy or muscle cars around here does.

Title? errr....do you mean "dont act like your not impressed" or the title of the thread?

Your gonna have to pick up an o2 sensor and a downpipe as well. But this is what I recommend... Click me

To my understanding the header i want gets rid of the catalytic converter, so why would i want to buy something that has a catalytic converter on it when the header (to my understanding) that i want, connect from the header to the exhaust? The only thing i might need is O2 sensors right?

o2 sensor extenders is what you need. btw, the headers don't go directly to the exhaust. you need either a test pipe to connect the header to the exhaust or, you'll need the hi-flow cat
