no. it does not add 10-15. it's really like 2-3. as for fitting, give us the sizing of the header first

RE: DC-S 4-2-1 Ceramic Header. Question!!!

DC-S = DC Style Header. Off brand Ebay header. I have one, there is a little gain, some tone difference too. Your secondary o2 sensor will need to be extended, and to get your CEL off you will need to get an o2 simulator. www.o2simulator.com < if you wannna know more. Also, the flange of my stock exhaust didn't fit that of the header, so i had to bring it into a shop to get a custom flange welded on there. Real quick and cheap fix, but stillnot very convenient. I do beleive this will remove your catalytic converteras well (considernig the cat of the 99 LX/DX is right in the exhaust manifold, so this header will remove it). If you want to stay eco-friendly, get a highflow cat and have it welded somewhere in your exhaust, but if not your cat will be gone. Hopefullly you dont live in a state where they test for emissions (if you decide to leave it off). People say they crack over time, and i wouldnt doubt it, but so far mine been all good. Looks real nice too :)so GL with the install and eveyrthing

RE: DC-S 4-2-1 Ceramic Header. Question!!!

I'm probably the only person on here that put in a header in a DX/HX/LX (All have Cat in the exhaust manifold), did the o2 Sensor extension myself, drive around without a cat and not get a check engine light or have a smell from the exhaust because of no cat. Even when I went to get my car inspected the guys were amazed that I didn't get a check Engine light. Before I went to get my car inspected though I did have a Magnaflow High Flow cat welded onto custom piping with my Twin Loop Muffler. You can either do the header now and wait to put in the exhaust/cat on like I did or put the header and exhaust on at the same time, then have a cat welded onto the exhaust piping.

^ thats crazy you didnt get a CEL, i envy you man ;)

also, you can get a highflow cat, and then a catback exhaust from a d16y8 and it will fit up perfectly (length-wise with the cat and the catback).
