Well I just got my ceramic coated 4-2-1 header on last night, it does give quite a good gain for something so small. However now It has a leak so I am going to a muffler shop to get that taken care of. I do have a question the paperwork says using header wrap will void the warrenty but a friend of mine said the header will get so hot it will start distorting stuff. opinions? Should I wrap it or not?

dont know if you would want to wrap a ceramic coated header.. usually people wrap the steel ones since they have no heat coating on them..

it shouldnt warp/melt anything around it so long as nothings touching the header or within line an inch or 2 from it...wraping the header will shorten the lifespan of it..

it shouldnt really shorten it that much if you do it right ( not baggin on ya civicexracer) just make sure you dont wrap it to thick, maybe a 1/4 inch overlay each time around. however do you decide to get crazy with it, shortening the lifespan via hot spots is a very good possibility.
