diff. in cat.'s

I already have a cat back exhaust and a sri. If I replace the cat will I notice a diff. from the stock? I saw one that I liked out of the JC Whitney catalog. But is it worth buying?[sm=smiley3.gif]

hehehe

who made the cat? a good highflowing cat will set you back a good 200-300 bucks...and will probably add around 1 horsepower with your setup

replacing your cat with a high flow cat or a decat-pipe will only add like 1-2 hp if you have an intake and exhuast mods. It will make a bigger difference if you're running FI, and would be highly recommended.

so basically if theres no FI its safe to run the "high flow cats" you see on ebay for like $50?

yes but its not gonna add any noticable difference, unless its w/ a turbo application

the magnaflow comes w/a test pipe you just have to get the o2 bung welded in, test pipe is supposed to give better
results w/ a turbo
