DPFI to MPFI questions.

So im definetly doing the dpfi to mpfi swap...is this right? http://hondacrx881.tripod.com/mpfiswap.html and has anyone actually had a dpfi setup that was any good? or kept dpfi and tuned it?

That site looks legitimate.

that is the site i used for my MPFI and had no problems and it went very smooth. Just make sure you take your time and Solder and Heatshrink that is the most important thing.

as for tunned DPFI...im sure there are a couple out there, but for the most part, not to many people tune the d15b2, its just not that powerful of an engine.

but you can find some cool projects out there such as this one.

So before anything do u need to put the new ECU in first?

Hailchristian 02-26-2009 09:48 PM

well..you will have to get all the parts...the throttle cable you don't need to replace, it just hangs out a bit. i still have my std throttle cable with my sohc zc which is mpfi and it works fine. Soldering is easy, just takes some practice...they are only like 10 bux at radio shack
