Edelbrock Performer X vs Victor X

go with the performance x. that 100 bucks really wont matter. if it was me, i wouldnt want to spend an extra 100 when id get almost the same results.

Results will not be the same. The Victor X won't start showing gains until probably unusable rpms for you. The Performer will make gains where you need them.

Performer X it is then :D

In about2 months, I'll be purchasing this intake manifold, along with a 65 mm throttle body. Hopefully I'll get some noticeable power with it. My goal performance wise is to be able to run a 13.9 all motor.

You'd see better hp per $ by swapping to a B18C. Cams would be your next best mod after that.

You wont hit 13.9 with an intake manifold lol

i dont plan on running a 13.9 with just these mods, its just another step closer. i think after this, i'll be looking into getting type r cams. what do you guys recommend after that?

Beefier fuel system, a tune and some sticky tires/light wheels. Youre going to have to make this car LIGHT to run 13s on that motor.

ive stripped out a ton of crap out of the car already. since its my daily driver, im keeping all of the necessary interior pieces in, such as rear seats, passenger seat, airbag, etc. but the next time i go down to the track, i plan on COMPLETELY stripping everything out. with just bolt on, and then type r cans, will a better fuel system really be necessary?
