Hey everyone I was wondering what you guys think is the best exhaust for a 00 Civic Si. I was looking for something that is kinda low, not ricy but has a mean roar to it. I like the sound of the Thermal R&D but dont know about them. Thanks!!

Does it make a difference if I was to get the muffler and then get pipes bent for the cat or is it better to just order it all together??

 

What do you mean "get the pipes bent for the cat"????? Buy a catback, buy a high-flow cat, and then buy a header.
My vote is for the EVO 2.

 

There is this place down the street from who can bend pipes and it is a lot less to buy a muffler and then have them weld it onto 2.5" pipes than to buy a cat-back system

yea it wont matter about the piping......a catback evoII is goin to cost u about 500.....but maybe u can find the muffler for 200......then get the pipes made custom.....shoudnt matter.......id get the pipes custom fabed........then u aint gotta pay shippin on them too.

 

custom fabrication is often cheaper in itself, and along with what pcupo said u dont have to pay shipping. plus you get a good lookin exhaust that no one else will have.

 

Apexi is really good for your car. HKS is also really nice too. Tanabe might even make the Hyper Medallion for you, which is made of Titanium and stainless steel
