Exhaust help!
hey guys i got my custom exhaust done at miami ,it was a gift from my dad so i dint make the decision on what i exactly wanted.. the problem is after about 4k RPM it relly sounds rice and i want to fix it without getting a new exhaust.. thanks alot
i have acould air intake, no headers yet.... mine sounds perfect at 3 to 4k and then omg hate it, i got a part time job so i have so money to spend and the first thing i want to do it fix that annoying rice sound

I have a custom catback too and it sounds rice at about the same RPM. Do you have a resonator? If not, that will fix it probably, and also what muffler? A Twin-Loop is a really subtle performance muffler, and the stock muffler will lose you some power but still sound a lot better. More details on your setup would be helpful
And are you serious when you say its 4" piping all the way back....?

I think he's saying the muffler's outlet is 4"... 4" tubing is too big even for boosted cars...
I think a resonator would clear it up.. until then, maybe a silencer? You can pick one up for like $20, and they really quiet the sound down, so it won't sound too ricy
