Default exhaust or intake first?

Just got my '08 civic si. I want to tune a little bit but am new to the whole world. I don't know if I should start with an intake or an exhaust. I am pretty sure I want the AEM cold air intake and the skunk 2 mega power r exhaust. I watched youtube videos on both of these and have researched plenty. Suggestions?

The Si has pretty nice exhaust from the factory so I would go with intake first.

Default I agree

I agree on the exhaust. Any suggestions on the intake? I have been looking at the AEM and the K&N. Both are around 300 bucks. K&N looks easier to install but I don't want that to be the main factor for my buy.

i agree with trust. they should both install the same way. I believe the ones from AEM comes with an installation manual that is vehicle specific. at least it did for my aem short ram.

Intake. No point in getting a cat-back with the factory header as the exhaust flow is still restricted through the smaller primaries/collector of the factory manifold.
