Exhaust Noise
Hi. I have jus fitted a Rage backbox to my 1995 civic lsi, and outside the car it looks and sounds great. The only problem is that inside the car its just too noisey, and is givin all my passengers headachs. I dont really want to remove it, but i cant keep it that noisey inside the car. Is there any way to reduce the noise in the car, like use a sound deadening material on the boot floor or something??
Please help, because the car sounds amazing!! Also, im on a student budget, so the cheaper the idea the better, lol!!
Cheers,
Chris

RE: Exhaust Noise
hey man, I tried this idea off of this website, http://www.ehow.com/how_11208_sound-deaden-car.html, try that. It worked a little in my car, but then again I haven't done the interior yet either. Just make sure and get a broad roller so that you can push that stuff down into the creases...otherwise it is pointless. I paid under 100 bucks to get enough to do my whole trunk, my doors, and the rear seat area. That may be your best bet other than dynamat or similar

RE: Exhaust Noise
cheers guys, im gona start off with some sound deadening material, i have also been told if i go down to a scrap yard i can rip some sound deadening materials out of newer cars from under the bonnet, which is far cheaper. If those dont work ill try adding a resonator as well.
