Exhaust Riddle?
 

So i've had my 95 civic for a month now and was wondering if i could improve on the exhaust. The previous owners before the guy i bought it from had cuople of things done to it. One of which is a Magnaflow exhaust. I was wondering though if a newer exhuast would improve on sound and performance. When i got the car it had a new engine put in it making me believe it was driven hard. If this has anything to do with the exhaust quality i don't know.The exhaust now sounds ok but gets a little too high piched. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Depending on what condition the magnaflow is in, and how old it is, a newer mandrel bent high flow exhaust may give you an hp or two. Nothing major, the biggest change would probably be the tone/sound of the exhaust. Which, if you get the right kind, would be nice and low, instead of high pitched and raspy
