Default exhaust sound

ok lets say you have headers high flow cat and cat back pipe. now lets say you wanted to cut the s pipe snd put in a second muffler. as in a muffler for your muffler what do you think this would do to the sonud obviously it would be quieter but do you think it would be deaper.

i've never known n e one to do that, i think it would sound terrible. definitely not deeper. if you want a deeper sounding exhaust get apexi, or a mustang...

i am interested in what other people have ot say about this, so i will be back on here tomorrow.

It's called a resonator. They're not really mufflers, but they lower the sound and quiet it a bit. Every name brand exhaust (or at least nice ones) have resonators already built in. When people go custom, they often try to find the biggest longest resonator they can to give the exhaust a nice smooth tone
