Ya im about to get a custom exhaust job done. I was reading another post and was wondering what a full exhaust was as opposed to a cat back...

 

no cat. hope you dont have inspections.

 

not necessarily does it mean no cat full exhaust would be everything including the headers all the way to the muffler. An open exhaust would mean no cat or anything for that fact. a cat back exhaust is the section of an exhaust that runs from your catalytic converter to the muffler.

 

Do catbacks give poor results in DriveClean test?

 

nope they give about stock results removing the catalytic converter or running test pipes is where you would have problems

 

no no no..hes just saying that if he was going to put no catalytic converter on there and he hope that theres no inspections there, because the catalytic converter is what filters out all the toxens
