Default Funky smell after installing header/exhaust?

I noticed there was kind of a weird smell after the first couple times driving my car after we installed my header/exhaust. I didnt notice it while driving, but after I turned the car off and walked past the front. Is that just the new parts being broken in or something?

x2. you will also notice a slight change in sound after about the first 100 miles... the sound you hear after that initial 100 miles is the sound you will have.

completely possible is that a plastic bag might have gotten stuck to the piping on your exhaust and melted.

make sure you check and retighten any loose bolts on the exhaust as well. they sometimes have a tendency to elongate with the heat from the exhaust (I had this problem but it also could have been that the muffler shop was a jerkoff circus ****hole with turdfluffs for mechs).
