So I'm just looking to get rid of my stock exhaust and i am on a tight tight budget... Soooooo i was looking on eBay and found the exhaust below. Is it a big mistake? Will atleast make my car sound half way decent? So whats the scoop cuz im getting desperate and very anxious over here wanting to hear my civic my a little more noise...

its just a muffler so it will NOT give that 5-10hp increase that they claim...looks like u would have to weld it on too. since it looks like a cheapo made muffler, it'll prolly sound like ****.

 

Yah i know it wont give me the power it claims.. I was just wondering if it would sound any good?

if good is like my grandpas assh*le after thanksgiving dinner...then yes id have to say it'd sound good.

 

Wow if you want something cheap don't go $3.99 plus shipping cheap, that price alone should set off some signals. Even a crappy APC muffler will cost you $100+ brand new. I would try to find a used Apexi or Greddy system on ebay, or buy some slightly cheaper knock off brand cat-back system brand new at least. Ether way I would hold out until you saved at least $300 up then go buy your exhaust system.

 

If you really are on tight budget than atleast save until you can just buy a good quality muffler. I know Apex'i makes a universal WS2 muffler, and if you fould one on ebay you could prolly get it for 80-100ish, then when you finally have the momney later and actually want to make some power out of it you can get a shop to do some custom 2.25" piping. Until then though it will atleast sound decent (im not going to say it will sound good, as i have never heard a "good" sounding car with just a muffler, but it will not sound like complete sh*t).

i say but it and see how it sounds, if its sucks well it was only like 10 bucks, but if it sounds half way decent, it still was only 10 bucks

 

Save the $10 and buy a 6 pack.. then drink your woes away and dream of when you will have the money to buy your actual good sounding exhaust.. honestly it will sound like complete crap...if you want your car to be louder, turn up the stereo...it will sound better then that thing
