Default greddy exhaust...never heard this before but...

someone told me this on another forum about the GReddy Evo2...

I would stay away from the Greddy exhaust. as we have experienced much grief with them in the past. they sell them as Stainless steel units and the B-pipe not only is not stainless it lasts about 2-3 yrs before the welds or other parts decide to corrode and rust. And it seems to stand within reason they don't stand behind their product either. Not a good call manufacture wise. theres better for equal or less and the same results can be achieved.
ive never heard of this...but im young yet...has anybody heard of this and/or had this problem themselves??

I dont' know about the stainless part. Why would GReedy market it as stainless if it weren't? They have a rather firm foothold in the import scene, I wouldn't think they would need to lie in their marketing. Stainless coated maybe??

Sounds like one guy who had a problem with his exhaust and is now generalizing.

Yeah, it's the first negative thing I have ever heard about it, aside form the price.

So maybe he had a problem, oh well. I know people who have bought Mercedes benz' and it turns out to be a lemon. Out of the crapload of exhausts greddy makes...a few are most likely going to go bad.....but for the most part id say greddy is a 110% safe bet.

I knew a person with a '03 Civic 4 door that lived in the mountains. Her 'little' problem was that when she would turn the steering wheel would lock up. Now if any of you have been in the mountains on those curvey cliff roads... well I dont need to explain further.

I've never heard that...most people recommend Greddy's... it was probably a one in a million...but i'm sure that they would replace....They make quality parts.
