Default Greddy exhaust silencer?

A guy by me said he could sell me his greddy exhaust for $200. It's in good shape, but doesn't have a silencer. Anyone know of a site where I can buy just the silencer?

correction: a universal silencer. The silencer I have on my muffler hasn't rattled yet... it's been there for 3/4 of a year. Then again, it is a really tight fit. Like "you need to use vice grips and yank hard to get it out" tight.

Anyways, I say ebay. I could have sworn I've seen them on a reputable site, though... if I can find it, I'll get ya a link.

EDIT: It's not GReddy, but A'PEXi is just as good if you ask me: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...0&D=319140

I'll let you know if I find any more.

to use it, you'd have to drill a hole in the greddy... bad idea[:@]

With a Greddy exhaust you probably won't need a silencer, especially if you get something like the evo2 its not loud enough for a silencer.

correction, apparently it's an Apexi, it's freaking huge too. In good shape, formerly on a Del Sol, it just seems really huge, and I imagine that without a silencer it wouldn't be much quiter than having no exhaust.

How much difference does a silencer make? I mean, it says 7 db on the site, but I don't really know how much quiter 7 db is.

Um, no, ANY silencer. My MR that came with the MR exhast rattled slightly when it was first warming up, and the last one I used rattled almost all the time. Both were an extremely tight fit
