greddy turbo exhaust

I am about to put on my turbo kit on my d16, and I was set on getting the greddy evo 2 exhaust. My buddy has one on his RSX Type S and it sounds awesome. Ive read some posts, and I saw that everyone is recommending the Evo TT for turbo. I want the evo2 sound, low and deep, not raspy. I havent heard a TT yet so I'm cautious of what to buy. I will have to buy a 4 bolt downpipe for the turbo, so I dont even know if the evo2 or evoTT will make a difference. I have read threads and couldnt find an answer, so sorry if its a repeat. Please help.

RE: greddy turbo exhaust

On a turbo application the exhausts are all going to sound pretty similar. I know my Megan Racing had a nice low deep tone, but was still a little loud. After slapping the turbo on there, the exhaust sounds almost stock.

RE: greddy turbo exhaust

I have seen a lot of knock off greddy exhaust kits out there, mainly on ebay. I dont want to cheap out, but if the only real difference between the two are the names, then I'm not going to spend an extra 200-300 dollars for a name stamped on the muffler. I havent heard a good or bad thing about knock off exhausts. If anyone has had experience with them I'd appreciate the input, or I can be convinced into going with a different turbo exhaust or turbo-back system that is close in tone to the evo2 exhaust. thanks
